Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of the Saykeeper web app (app.saykeeper.com), the Android app and the API, and the purchase of a subscription. By creating an account and by ordering a subscription, you agree to them.
1. Provider
The service is provided by Timur Cimerman, sole trader (SZČO), with place of business at 29. augusta 5682/36A, 058 01 Poprad, Slovakia, Company ID (IČO): 56643454, Tax ID (DIČ): 1130022674, registered in the Trade Register of the District Office Poprad, No. 740-44854 (“Saykeeper”, “we”). Contact: support@saykeeper.com. Supervision of compliance with consumer protection rules is carried out by the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia, SOI) (soi.sk).
2. What Saykeeper does
Saykeeper is an app for recording in-person (offline) meetings with the microphone of your phone (the Android app) or your computer (app.saykeeper.com), or for processing an audio or video file that you upload. It creates a transcript, and uses artificial intelligence to create a summary, tasks, minutes, a follow-up email and messages from templates, and to answer your questions about the meeting. You can share a meeting by a link, sort meetings into playlists and work in teams (workspaces). Saykeeper does not join online calls: no bot enters your meeting, and there is no browser extension, calendar connection or link to video call tools. It is a digital service. AI outputs may contain errors, omissions or incorrect speaker attribution. They are not a verbatim or legally binding record, so always check important things in the transcript or the recording.
3. Account
You need an account to use the service. The details you give at registration must be true, and you must keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for activity in your account. You must be at least 16 years old.
4. Recording and consent
You are responsible for recording lawfully. Before recording, inform all participants and get their consent where the law requires it (in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, as a rule, always). For personal data in recordings, you are the controller. Details are in recording consent. You must not use Saykeeper for secret recording or for recording that violates the rights of others.
5. Price, subscription and payments
- Free: without a subscription, your first meeting is free, with a transcript, summary and tasks for up to 30 minutes of recording. Further recording and processing of meetings requires a Saykeeper Pro subscription.
- Saykeeper Pro: €19.99 per month, or €167.88 per year (the equivalent of €13.99 per month, paid in one payment). Pro includes up to 20 hours of transcription per calendar month. The limit resets on the 1st of each month (UTC). If you reach it, the recording is stored and processed once the limit resets, and a meeting that crosses the limit is still processed in full.
- You pay on the web through Stripe, also when you start from the Android app. We do not sell subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play. For a workspace, extra members are paid per seat, and the price is shown in the app before payment.
- The current price and period (monthly or yearly) are on the home page and in the app before payment. Prices are final, we are not a VAT payer.
- The contract is concluded when you confirm the order with a button that obliges you to pay and the payment goes through.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. The subscription renews automatically for another period of the same length, and the payment is charged to the saved card until you cancel the subscription. The minimum commitment is one paid period.
- You can cancel it at any time in the app under Payments. The service stays active until the end of the paid period and no further payment is taken. We do not refund a period that has started, except in the cases under sections 6 and 7.
- We will announce a price change by email at least 30 days in advance. The new price applies from the next period, and you can cancel the subscription before then.
6. Withdrawal from the contract (consumers)
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of the day it was concluded.
- You can withdraw in the app under Payments, if this function is available there, or by email to support@saykeeper.com. A clear statement is enough, and you can also use the model form below. The deadline is met if you send the withdrawal on the last day of the period. We will confirm receipt by email.
- If you expressly asked when ordering that we start providing the service immediately, that is, before the withdrawal period ends, and you acknowledged this notice, you will pay on withdrawal only a proportionate part of the price for the period up to the withdrawal, and we will refund the rest. Otherwise we will refund the full amount.
- We will refund the money within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal, in the same way you paid.
- The right of withdrawal ends when the service for the given period has been fully provided.

7. Defects and complaints
We are responsible for the service working as we describe it during the paid period. If it does not work, write to support@saykeeper.com or use Help in the app and describe the problem. We will remedy the defect without undue delay and within 30 days of it being reported, and we will tell you the result. If we do not remedy it, you have the right to an appropriate discount or you can withdraw from the contract. Inaccuracies in AI outputs under section 2 are not in themselves a defect.
Out-of-court dispute resolution: if you are a consumer and you are not satisfied with how we handled your complaint, or you think we have violated your rights, you can ask us to put things right at support@saykeeper.com. If we reject your request or do not reply, you can submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution to an alternative dispute resolution body, in particular the Slovak Trade Inspection (soi.sk). The list of these bodies is kept by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic (mhsr.sk).
8. Your content
Recordings, transcripts and other content belong to you. You give us only the permission we need to provide the service: to store it, process it and show it to you and to those you share it with. We do not use it to train artificial intelligence models. How we handle content is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual property
Saykeeper, meaning its name, logo, design, software, the saykeeper.com website, the web and mobile apps, texts and databases, is the exclusive property of Timur Cimerman (Company ID 56643454). No other person is authorised to offer or sell Saykeeper, present it as their own product or act on its behalf. Using the service gives you no rights to Saykeeper other than the right to use it under these terms.
10. What is not allowed
- breaking the law or the rights of others, in particular recording without the necessary consent,
- uploading content that you have no rights to,
- disrupting, overloading or bypassing the security of the service,
- sharing an account with other people outside a workspace, or reselling the service without our agreement.
11. Availability and changes to the service
We try to make Saykeeper work reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability (for example during maintenance or an outage at a processor). We may improve features. If we make a change during the paid period that materially worsens what you pay for, we will announce it in advance and you can withdraw from the contract free of charge within 30 days of the change.
12. Liability
We are liable for damage as the law provides. If you are not a consumer, we are not liable for lost profit or indirect damage, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. These limits do not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Consumer rights that the law does not allow to be limited remain unaffected.
13. Termination
You can close your account at any time (see account deletion). Cancel an active subscription first under Payments (when you delete the account in the Android app, it is cancelled automatically). We may suspend or end access if you seriously breach these terms or if the law requires it. If we close your account through no fault of yours, we will refund the unused part of your subscription.
14. Governing law
The law of the Slovak Republic applies, in particular Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on Consumer Protection and the Civil Code (Občiansky zákonník). A consumer does not lose the protection given by the mandatory rules of the country where they have their habitual residence.
15. Changes to the terms
We will announce material changes by email or in the app at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree with a change, you can cancel the subscription before it takes effect.
